Steel Male Threaded Rod Ends
Rod ends are available in both alloy steel and carbon steel. Alloy steel rod ends have a higher tensile strength than carbon steel. Both come in a black oxide finish for corrosion resistance in dry environments. Rod ends are threaded swing bolts that can be cut to any length required. They are commonly used with a rubber bushing and can lift loads and allow for motion control. They work in many applications: steering, tensioning, and controlling movement at pivot points. Hex nuts may be added to the rod end to add extra security.
